![School Bus Safety Week. October 7-11. G16 Transportation will be at the CFL on October 8th and 9th and BUE on October 10th to teach the students bus safety. Coloring pages will be given to each student and prizes will be given to the top three colored pages in each school. Winners will be chosen by the G16 Transportation Department. Students will be able to learn how to be safe both inside and outside of the bus. Our own bus driver, Mrs. Donna Nichols, will be teaching the course. We are deeply saddened by the loss of Joe Cason, a beloved friend, community member, volunteer coach, and #1 fan of the GVHS Cardinals Basketball teams. Please join us for his memorial service on Saturday, October 19, 2024, 10:00 am at the Grand Valley United Methodist Church (132 N. Join Team AVSC snowboard to bring a friend day, a community event on Sunday 9/29. Bring a friend to showcase what we AVSC has to offer. Friends, siblings, and parents are all welcome to join. AVSC will have some of your favorite coaches at the super tramp, fly bed and side yard/mini ramp. Coach Eric will have 8 skateboards pressed for kids to choose their design and have them cut on site.

We are excited to announce a Theatre Aspen program for students in grades 3-8. Students will be performing Disney's Encanto! The program will take place on Mondays from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Grand Valley Middle School. Transportation and lunch will be provided to student participants.
